Greg Lanphear, who has been at ABC Supply since 1998, was recently promoted to the position of Managing Partner. Lanphear will continue to oversee operations at the El Cajon branch where he had been previously, but he will now also become an active member of the National Branch Advisory Board of ABC Supply.

Fort Worth Police Nab Suspects in Roofing Supply Robbery at ABC Supply

The value of roofing supply parts such as shingles, siding, and lumber has increased tremendously, making them a target for thieves. Recently, a robbery occurred at ABC Supply in Fort Worth, Texas. CBS 11 TV reported last week that two suspects had been apprehended.

ABC Supply Redesigns Two East Coast Solution Centers

ABC Supply recently redesigned two of its Solutions Centers, in Fall River, MA and Providence, RI. The redesign is part of ABC’s nationwide store upgrade as it continues to be committed to providing “world-class service.” According to district manager Tom Zimmerman:

We’ve always offered a wider range of products and services than we have been able to adequately display, and this new Solution Center design system allows us to display a lot of product in a relatively small space.

Many of the features of the redesigned Solution Centers are the result of feedback from contractors who were looking for better ways to educate themselves, their employees and their customers about the options available to them.

Homeowners want to see their options, but many contractors find it’s not feasible to have their own Solution Center. Our Solution Centers fill that need. They are tools for professionals; comfortable, welcoming places they can bring their clients. We want our customers to feel our Solution Centers are their showrooms.
